Certified Nurse Anesthetist prepares prescribed solutions and administers anesthetic following specified methods and procedures. Informs physician of patient's condition during anesthesia. Being a Certified Nurse Anesthetist performs pre- and post-anesthesia patient visits and documents anesthesia notes on patient records. Requires a master's degree. Additionally, Certified Nurse Anesthetist requires Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA). Requires Registered Nurse (RN). Requires Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). Typically reports to a manager. Certified Nurse Anesthetist's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Certification and/or licensing in the position's specialty is the main requirement. We have been successfully educating students ages 5 - 15, grades K - 9, for over 30 years. The school is currently hiring a Certified School Nurse.
Job Duties and Responsibilities Include:
- Responsible for providing coverage as the nurse within George Washington School.
- Provide medical care, promote health maintenance and to provide health education to students.
- Some travel responsibilities to Sawtelle Learning Center in Montclair, NJ.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree
- Valid NJ Registered Nurse License
- Valid School Nurse Certification
- Valid Driver's License
