Certified Nurse Anesthetist prepares prescribed solutions and administers anesthetic following specified methods and procedures. Informs physician of patient's condition during anesthesia. Being a Certified Nurse Anesthetist performs pre- and post-anesthesia patient visits and documents anesthesia notes on patient records. Requires a master's degree. Additionally, Certified Nurse Anesthetist requires Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA). Requires Registered Nurse (RN). Requires Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). Typically reports to a manager. Certified Nurse Anesthetist's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Certification and/or licensing in the position's specialty is the main requirement. Case Load: General surgery, Orthopedic, and GYN procedures. We are seeking an individual who is proficient in administering epidurals and spinals. Call duties are shared on a 1:2-3 rotation with light call back.

Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia educational program.
- Current licensure as a registered nurse in Texas
- Certification as a Nurse Anesthetist by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists
- Completion of any additional state-specific requirements for licensure or certification.
- Continuing education to maintain licensure and certification.
