Certified Nurse Anesthetist prepares prescribed solutions and administers anesthetic following specified methods and procedures. Informs physician of patient's condition during anesthesia. Being a Certified Nurse Anesthetist performs pre- and post-anesthesia patient visits and documents anesthesia notes on patient records. Requires a master's degree. Additionally, Certified Nurse Anesthetist requires Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA). Requires Registered Nurse (RN). Requires Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). Typically reports to a manager. Certified Nurse Anesthetist's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Certification and/or licensing in the position's specialty is the main requirement. This facility is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.
Schedule:
Monday Friday, 8 hour schedule daily (7a-3p; 9a-5p; or 3p-11p) or possible 10 hour shifts
Job Setting:
Medical Center
Types of Cases:
Cases include general surgery, orthopedics, gynecology, ear, nose, and throat (ENT), urology, ophthalmology (vitrectomy, and cataracts), and podiatry. Facility performs vascular and thoracic cases but these will not be required.
Credentialing Timeframe: 90 days.
Board Certification and California State License Required.
Facility LocationLocated in the heart of the San Fernando Valley, Panorama City offers easy access to the best of the Los Angeles area, including the culture, shopping, dining, and entertainment of Hollywood, Pasadena, Santa Monica, Malibu, and other famous destinations.
The nearby studio town of Burbank offers great dining and nightlife, and popular tourist attractions like Universal Studios and Six Flags Magic Mountain are right around the corner, too.
