Certified Nurse Anesthetist prepares prescribed solutions and administers anesthetic following specified methods and procedures. Informs physician of patient's condition during anesthesia. Being a Certified Nurse Anesthetist performs pre- and post-anesthesia patient visits and documents anesthesia notes on patient records. Requires a master's degree. Additionally, Certified Nurse Anesthetist requires Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA). Requires Registered Nurse (RN). Requires Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). Typically reports to a manager. Certified Nurse Anesthetist's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Certification and/or licensing in the position's specialty is the main requirement. This facility is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.
Details and requirements for this opportunity:- Schedule: Monday - Wednesday, 7 am until cases are complete. Mostly 8-hour days but sometimes 10. No weekends.
- Setting: Surgery center
- Types of cases: MAC sedation for IR
- Credentialing time: 1 month
- Requirements: Board certification
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR): To be determined.
