Certified Nurse Anesthetist prepares prescribed solutions and administers anesthetic following specified methods and procedures. Informs physician of patient's condition during anesthesia. Being a Certified Nurse Anesthetist performs pre- and post-anesthesia patient visits and documents anesthesia notes on patient records. Requires a master's degree. Additionally, Certified Nurse Anesthetist requires Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA). Requires Registered Nurse (RN). Requires Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). Typically reports to a manager. Certified Nurse Anesthetist's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Certification and/or licensing in the position's specialty is the main requirement. This facility is seeking several Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.
Details and requirements for this opportunity:- On-going coverage. 2' 8s and 2' 12s; 5' 8s; 3 12s; 4' 10s as last resort. Will honor a Monday/Tuesday/Thursday/Friday schedule.
- Short-Term Acute Care Hospital
- Cases include Hearts, Code Stroke, and some Pediatrics (although locums are not deployed to these cases)
- Credentialing Timeframe: 60 days
