Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to join our team. As a CRNA, you will play a crucial role in providing safe and effective anesthesia care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. Duties:
- Administer anesthesia to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures
- Monitor patients' vital signs, such as heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen levels
- Adjust anesthesia levels as needed to ensure patient comfort and safety
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized anesthesia plans
- Maintain accurate documentation of anesthesia care provided
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy and confidentiality
- Assist with sterile processing of equipment and supplies used in anesthesia administration
- Administer medications as prescribed by physicians
- Provide patient education regarding anesthesia procedures and post-operative care
Requirements:
- Current certification as a Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
- Proficient in patient care techniques and practices
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and guidelines
- Familiarity with sterile processing techniques
- Experience in medication administration
- Familiarity with medical office software such as Epic for electronic medical records management
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare team members
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Preferred Skills:
While not required, the following skills are preferred for this position:
- Experience working in a hospital or surgical center setting
- Specialization or experience in ophthalmology anesthesia
