What will you be doing in this role? A successful candidate will:
General Purpose: In order to ensure quality healthcare services, the Certified Nurse Midwife provides direct patient care to women, which includes gynecologic, prenatal, and postpartum care. Additionally, the CNM provides clinical leadership to other providers around perinatal services.

Experience: Previous experience as a nurse midwife in a clinical setting is preferred.

Material and equipment directly used: Computer, printer, multi-line telephone systems, fax machine, copy machine, Microsoft Office Outlook, the internet and EHR. General medical equipment used for patient care.
Working environment/physical activities: Office environment within a clinical setting. Enters patient data into computer programs via use of EMR database system, mouse and keyboard. Moves about the office environment and occasionally to other locations. Communicates information to others. Discerns/analyzes and synthesizes information from others to assist in decision making.
