Certified Nurse Midwife provides professional care for patients with obstetric and gynecologic needs. Assists patients in labor and delivery, as well as postpartum care. Being a Certified Nurse Midwife ensures safety and health of mother and child and identifies need for additional care. Works in conjunction with a practicing physician. Additionally, Certified Nurse Midwife requires a bachelor's degree. Requires Certified as Nurse Midwife. Requires Registered Nurse. Requires Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). OCMC is accepting applications for a Full Time Certified Coding Specialist.
The formal education and a certification in Medical Coding is required.
Ability to code hospital accounts with knowledge of medical terminology, ICD-9-CM, ICD-10-CM/PCS and CPT coding. Audits and reports results as needed. Knowledge of documentation regulations and/or requirements as they relate to ICD-9-CM, ICD-10-CM/PCS and CPT Coding Regulatory Requirements.
The applicant must have strong interpersonal skills, be able to perform well individually and within group settings, have the ability to handle situations professionally and accurately, and must be able to provide care with courtesy, friendliness and respect.
