Mercyhealth, an award-winning fully integrated health care delivery organization based in Wisconsin and Illinois, is seeking an experienced Certified Nurse Midwife to join our Maternal Fetal Medicine team at our new, state of the art facility, Javon Bea Hospital - Riverside in Rockford, IL.

Opportunity:

• Provide patient care and education to an assigned caseload of maternal fetal medicine patients in accordance with established midwifery practice guidelines
• Educate midwifery, medical and nursing students, and nursing and resident staff in normal childbirth.
• Collaborate with experienced Maternal Fetal Medicine specialists
• Hours: M-F, 8a-5p.
• This is a clinic-based position and will not include deliveries
• Our newly constructed $505 million-dollar specialty referral hospital along I-90 in Rockford features a women’s and children’s unit with neonatal and high-risk maternity care.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Midwifery Program
• Current IL RN license
• Current IL APRN license
• Current DEA number
• Other certifications as required
• Previous Midwife experience required.
