Position Summary

MemorialCare Medical Group is looking for an experienced and compassionate Certified Nurse-Midwife (CNM) to join our Obstetrics and Gynecology practice located on the MemorialCare Orange Coast Medical Center campus. The ideal candidate will have two or more years of experience practicing full-scope midwifery. Our midwives manage and care for patients during the antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and interconceptual periods.

Experience

• At least two (2) years of full-time experience as a full-scope Certified Nurse Midwife is required

Education, Licensures, and Certifications

• Graduate of an accredited nurse-midwifery program
• Masters of Science, Nursing
• ACNM Board Certification (American College of Nurse-Midwives)
• California RN, Nurse Midwife, and Furnishing Licenses
• DEA certificate
• BLS certification
• Midwives must recertify every 5 years through AMCB and must meet specific continuing education requirements
