Certified Nurse Midwife (Full Time)

Auburn Obstetrics and Gynecology is seeking to hire a highly motivated Certified Nurse Midwife to join our successful OB/GYN practice in Auburn, NY. Our mission is to provide comprehensive and compassionate care to all patients.

Position Requirements

• Experience in labor and delivery
• Perform vaginal deliveries
• Participate in a reasonable call schedule
• Develop individualized treatment/birthing plans for Obstetrical and Gynecological patients
• Perform histories, exams, and patient follow-ups
• Utilize the latest evidence-based practices to improve patient satisfaction and outcomes
• Given the nature of the OB/GYN discipline, dedication, commitment and flexibility are of paramount importance
• Foster a positive environment for patients and staff
• Demonstrate a culture of caring and strive for excellence in all aspects to deliver the highest standard of patient-centric care

Position Schedule

The position is a 40 hour per week job comprised of two 8-hour days in the outpatient office and one 24-hour on-call shift per week. Optional on-call coverage shifts are available for additional compensation.

Rotating weekend and holiday coverage of L&D may be required.

Required Criteria

• Master’s Degree in Nursing
• Midwife Certification
• Current New York State RN License (or willingness to obtain)
• Registered in New York State for Advance Practice required
• Previous experience in L&D or an OB/GYN practice as a Midwife or RN
• BCLS certification required

Salary commenserate with experience

Pay: $125,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year
