Certified Nursing Assistant performs various direct patient care activities under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Assists patients in dressing, undressing, bathing, eating, walking, and other activities. Being a Certified Nursing Assistant ensures patients' safety, well-being, and comfort. Collects non-invasive body fluid specimens and gathers vital signs. Additionally, Certified Nursing Assistant helps patients take medications. Aids physicians and nursing staff members with procedures if needed. Maintains documents and records related to patient care. Follows all relevant safety guidelines and regulations. Position Summary:
On-call C.N.A. position available for our Medical Clinic in Everson. This position may require travel to Bellingham if needed. The Nursing Assistant will assist providers with patient flow and provide patient care in a safe and timely fashion. Will work closely with other departments to provide the best outcomes for patients and the organization. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following: assist with charting office visits, process point of care referrals, ensure communication and documentation for comprehensive patient care coordination, follow protocol in rooming and exiting patients, and other duties as assigned by the supervisor. Successful candidate must be able to work collaboratively with the healthcare team, maintain professional clinical standards, and demonstrate a high level of customer service at all levels.
