The CNA functions as an integral part of the nursing care team under the supervision of an RN and/or LPN. This position provides basic care assisting patients with the activities of daily living. The CNA performs routine data collection regarding the patient's condition, maintains safe, clean therapeutic patient atmosphere and performs other designated unit support activities including a variety of clerical duties relating to the updating and organizing of information in nursing.
