Job Description
The primary purpose of your job position is to provide each of your assigned residents with routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with the resident’s assessment and care plan, and as may be directed by your supervisors. As a Certified Nursing Assistant you are delegated the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability necessary for carrying out your assigned duties.
Duties and Responsibilities
Perform all assigned tasks in accordance with our established policies and procedures, and as instructed by your supervisors.
Follow work assignments, and/or work schedules in completing and performing your assigned tasks.
Review care plans daily to determine if changes in the resident’s daily care routine have been made on the care plan.
Inform the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse of any changes in the resident’s condition so that appropriate information can be entered on the resident’s care plan.
Ensure that your notes reflect that the care plan is being followed.
Requirements
Must be a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant in accordance with laws of Rhode Island.
Must function independently and have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with residents, personnel, and support agencies.
