Certified Nursing Assistant - Long-Term Care performs various direct patient care activities in a long-term care environment under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Assists patients in dressing, undressing, bathing, eating, walking, and other activities. Being a Certified Nursing Assistant - Long-Term Care provides support and companionship to patients. Collects non-invasive body fluid specimens and gathers vital signs. Additionally, Certified Nursing Assistant - Long-Term Care helps patients take medications. Aids physicians and nursing staff members with procedures if needed. Maintains documents and records related to patient care. Follows all relevant safety guidelines and regulations. Requires a high school diploma. Requires Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). Requires State License. Typically reports to a registered nurse or manager. Certified Nursing Assistant - Long-Term Care's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Certification and/or licensing in the position's specialty is the main requirement. SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST - SLP - LONG-TERM CARE/SKILLED NURSING FACILITY
A Speech-Language Pathologist is needed for a full-time 13-week contract in Florara, Alabama! Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 1 year of recent long-term care/skilled nursing experience, be proficient in evaluations, have excellent communication skills, excel in a fast-paced environment, and work well within a multidisciplinary team. In addition to the standard benefits, our therapists are preferred in a number of facilities in the area.
Hourly compensation: $43

SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST SLP JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Masters of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Successful completion of National Certification Examination
- 1 year of verifiable, supervised professional experience within the last 3 years
- Valid SLP license in Alabama
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
- Might be required to float to Luverne, Opp, and Andalusia
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccination
