- Provide counseling and support to residents regarding aging issues and challenges
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed
- Maintain accurate records of resident participation and progress
- Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and standards
Skills:
- Strong social skills with the ability to connect and build relationships with residents
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Knowledge of aging issues counseling and techniques for supporting seniors
- Effective schedule management to coordinate activities and events
- Familiarity with nursing home regulations and requirements
- Experience in event planning and coordination
- Understanding of recreational therapy principles
