Assists patients in dressing, undressing, bathing, eating, walking, and other activities. Being a Certified Nursing Assistant - Long-Term Care provides support and companionship to patients. Collects non-invasive body fluid specimens and gathers vital signs. Additionally, Certified Nursing Assistant - Long-Term Care helps patients take medications. Aids physicians and nursing staff members with procedures if needed. Maintains documents and records related to patient care. Follows all relevant safety guidelines and regulations. SUMMARY
As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will provide high quality, individualized patient care in collaboration with the nursing team. Your ability to take initiative while always assisting and maintaining patient care will be critical in the success of the entire team.

LOCATION: Clifton Springs Nursing Home (2 Coulter Road Clifton Springs, NY 14432)
DEPARTMENT: Long Term Care
SCHEDULE: 7am - 3pm, 3pm - 11pm and 11pm - 7am shifts available
COMPENSATION: $19.25/hr (varies based on years of experience)
CLIFTON SPRINGS NURSING HOME
Attached to Clifton Springs Hospital, Clifton Springs Nursing Home offers a uniquely holistic approach to long-term care. Skilled nursing care is located adjacent to Spa Springs, where patients can access massage therapy, acupuncture and similar treatments. Clifton Springs Nursing Home is a 108-bed facility.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Patient Care & Service. Provide and/or assist the resident in activities necessary as per individualized care planning; transport to and from activities as needed; provide leisure activities as needed; perform evaluation and reporting; provide resident and family with emotional support
Safety. Assist in maintaining a clean and safe resident environment
Communication & Documentation. Support families, direct them to appropriate professional staff; respond to resident requests in a timely manner; receive/give reports to team members/team leaders
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.
