Assists patients in dressing, undressing, bathing, eating, walking, and other activities. Being a Certified Nursing Assistant - Long-Term Care provides support and companionship to patients. Collects non-invasive body fluid specimens and gathers vital signs. Additionally, Certified Nursing Assistant - Long-Term Care helps patients take medications. Aids physicians and nursing staff members with procedures if needed. Maintains documents and records related to patient care. Follows all relevant safety guidelines and regulations. Requires a high school diploma. Requires Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). Requires State License. Typically reports to a registered nurse or manager. Job Summary
The Certified Nursing Assistant will support Avera Education & Staffing Solutions’ temporary staffing service’s goal of excellence in patient care by facilitating positive employee relations and supporting customer expectations. The Certified Nursing Assistant will perform all duties and responsibilities in such a way as to demonstrate Avera Education & Staffing Solutions’ temporary staffing service’s values while maintaining a professional relationship with residents/patients, co-workers, visitors, and staff of this agency. This is done in accordance with our policies, procedures, and state and federal guidelines. The Certified Nursing Assistant will perform all duties and responsibilities in accordance with regulatory and accrediting agencies’ standards. This position requires travel to various facilities and commitment is essential for scheduled hours.
