Star Nursing has an Urgent Need for a CNA in Bishop, CA!
Location: Bishop, CA
Facility: Skilled Nursing Facility
Start Date: March 30, 2024 / Replacement
Length: 4 - 8 Week Contract / 4 on 2 Off / 8hr. Shift / 32 - 40 Hrs.
Available Shifts: 1X PM (2:30 - 10:30 PM)
PAY RATES: CNA
$22/hr. With Housing Provided by the Facility
*Must have reliable transportation since the airport is 5 - 6 hours away from the facility
CNA Responsibilities and Duties
• Provides for activities of daily living by assisting with serving meals, feeding patients as necessary, ambulating, turning, and positioning patients; and providing fresh water and nourishment between meals.
• Maintains patient stability by checking vital signs and weight, testing urine, and recording intake and output information.
• Provides patient comfort by utilizing resources and materials; transporting patients; answering patients’ call lights and requests; and reporting observations of the patient to the nursing supervisor.
• Documents actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
• Maintains work operations by following the policies and procedures of the facility
• Protects the organization’s value by keeping patient information confidential.
• Enhances nursing department and facility reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
• Checks residents/patients frequently to assure that their personal care needs are being met.
• Treats all residents, visitors, and staff with courtesy
• Maintaining professionalism at all times
Requirements:
1st Step:
• Resume – long-term care experience
• Nursing license/Cert – Valid CA CNA License
• Current - BLS/CPR
• Skills checklist
• 2– current -Supervisor references
2nd Step:
• Physical (within the last 12 months)
• PPD (within the last 12 months)
• MMR, Varicella, Hep B or Titers- Vaccination
• Tdap/Flu (or decline)
• Covid Fully Vaccinated
• Exams
• LGBT Training Certification
• Must be able to pass background/ urine drug screen
