Assists patients in dressing or undressing, bathing, or eating. Being a Certified Nursing Assistant - Nursing Home collects non-invasive body fluid specimens or gathers vital signs but does not start or administer intravenous fluids. Aids physicians and nursing staff members with procedures if needed. Additionally, Certified Nursing Assistant - Nursing Home documents patient interactions as needed. Requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a registered nurse or manager. Requires certified nursing assistant (CNA). Requires applicable state license. Certified Nursing Assistant - Nursing Home's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Certification and/or licensing in the position's specialty is the main requirement. SUMMARY

JOB DUTIES
- Help patients use the restroom
- Clean and bathe patients or residents
- Maintain patients' hygiene and change bedding
- Turn, reposition, and move patients between wheelchairs, seats, and beds
- Serve meals and help patients eat their food
- Measure vital signs like blood pressure and temperature
- Listen to patients regarding any health concerns they might have and report details to a Registered Nurse or Doctor
REQUIREMENTS
- CNA license in Florida
- Ability to work weekends, evenings and flexible hours
