Evergreen Commons Rehabilitation and Nursing has openings for some great, energetic and passionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to assist with resident care in our sub-acute rehab and skilled nursing facility. We currently have Full-Time & Part-Time shifts available!

Our 240 bed skilled nursing facility is centrally located in East Greenbush NY  only minutes from Downtown Albany. Surrounded by beautifully landscaped grounds, safe walking paths and pleasant outdoor patios, in addition to a playground for all our young visitors.

The Certified Nurse Assistant - CNA is responsible for providing direct, hands-on care to residents to ensure residents attain or maintain the highest possible physical, mental and emotional well-being possible for each resident without declines in status unless the decline is documented as unavoidable.

Responsibilities:

• The CNA follows safety policies and practices in performing nursing care.
• The CNA reports changes in residents condition immediately to the Charge Nurse.
• The CNA observes resident's rights including, but not limited to, privacy, dignity, and confidentiality.
• The CNA promotes positive public relations with residents, family members and guests. 

Requirements for Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA):

• Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certificate for NY
• Excellent work ethic
• Caring and compassionate personality
