    What You Will Do:

    The CNA, under the supervision of Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse, performs routine personal care duties for residents/patients. Maintains a safe environment and reports any problems; supports the Valley Health mission and vision; may act as a preceptor in the orientation of new employees.

    Registry of the Board of Nursing as a Certified Nurse Aide
    BLS Certification (Basic Life Support) - American Heart ‘Healthcare Provider’ (HCP) - AHA approved required *
    Certified as a CNA or eligible for application for licensing in West Virginia * New hires must have American Heart Association (AHA) appropriate certification prior to completion of orientation.

    Knowledgeable in the basic stages of human growth and development and competent to provide care appropriate to the age group of patients served
