Certified Nursing Assistant - Occupational Health performs various direct patient care activities in an occupational or industrial health setting, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Collects non-invasive body fluid specimens or gathers vital signs. Being a Certified Nursing Assistant - Occupational Health aids physicians and nursing staff members with procedures if needed. Documents patient interactions as needed. Additionally, Certified Nursing Assistant - Occupational Health requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a registered nurse or manager. Requires certified nursing assistant (CNA). Requires license from state. Certified Nursing Assistant - Occupational Health's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. DESCRIPTION:
Assists nursing personnel in provision of basic and personal care for residents and necessary unit tasks and functions in compliance with The Nurse Connection policies, and procedures, applicable health care standards and New York State Department of Health.
Qualifications:
Currently holds an active CNA certificate
Knowledge of relevant nursing care
Friendly and professional bedside manner
Maintains current CPR certification
Effective oral, written, and reading communication skills
Understands legal implications of patient care
