CNA Responsibilities
As a CNA, you will play a vital role in our resident and guest outcomes and overall experience by providing individualized and compassionate care. Certified nursing assistants (CNA) are responsible for delivering and assisting resident with daily needs, including personal care needs, preparation for activity and social programs, and routine activities in accordance with accepted standards of practice, state and federal regulations and licensing requirements. CNAs provide basic nursing care to residents within the scope of the nursing assistant responsibilities and perform basic nursing procedures under the direction of the licensed nurse supervisor.
CNA Requirements
Certified in the state of practice, required.
Successful completion of State Approved Nurse Aide Training and Competency Evaluation Program; Name must appear on State Registry as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in good standing.
Prior experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in a skilled nursing facility preferred but not required.
Current BLS/CPR certification (All SNFs; ALFs as required by state).
