Responsibilities: - Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience - Schedule appointments and manage the office calendar using medical scheduling systems - Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including patient demographics, medical history, and insurance information - Assist with administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, responding to emails, and managing correspondence - Coordinate referrals to specialists and follow up on patient care - Process billing and insurance claims accurately and efficiently - Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless patient care coordination - Maintain confidentiality of patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certification in medical office administration is a plus - Proven experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred - Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as Eaglesoft, eClinicalWorks, Epic, or Dentrix - Strong knowledge of medical terminology and procedures - Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively - Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written - Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism We offer competitive compensation and benefits packages for our employees.
