Additionally, Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant requires NBCOT Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) certification. Typically reports to an occupational therapist. Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Certification and/or licensing in the position's specialty is the main requirement. Qualifications:
- Minimum of an Associate's Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Valid Physical Therapist license in Wisconsin
- A minimum of one year’s work experience as a Occupational Therapist Assisant is preferred, but not required.
- Experience with dementia is preferred.
