Certified Professional Coder

• Job Summary
• Handle day-to-day coding for Pulmonology, Critical Care & Sleep Medicine practice
• Must be self-motivated with superb time management skills
• Must be organized and detail-oriented
• Responsibilities Include
• Responsible for reviewing patient's medical records after hospital and office visits and translating the information into codes that insurers use to process claims
• Experience and Skills
• CPC Certification Preferred or 3 years experience coding Pulmonary/ ICU
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills required
• Ability to work independently and adapt to a fast-changing environment
• Allscripts is preferred but not required
