Certified Respiratory Therapist assists in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients with pulmonary disorders. Collects and analyzes sputum, blood, and breath specimens to determine levels of oxygen, carbon dioxide, and other gases. Being a Certified Respiratory Therapist also measures the lung capacity of a patient to determine if there is an impairment. Requires an associate degree and a credential of Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT). Additionally, Certified Respiratory Therapist may be expected to maintain a CPR certification. Typically reports to a manager. Certified Respiratory Therapist's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Respiratory Therapist that is looking for a flexible part time arrangement. You will only meet with patients that need to be setup on their new CPAP machine.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate patients' respiratory conditions and needs
- Setup patient with CPAP machine
Qualifications:
- Valid state license as a Respiratory Therapist
- Familiarity with pediatric respiratory therapy is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $40.00 - $60.00 per hour
Expected hours: 1 – 10 per week
