Job Summary:
As a Park and Gate Attendant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and safety of visitors to the Fort Supply Lake, Oklahoma. You will be responsible for managing the entrance and exit gates, collecting fees, providing information and assistance to visitors, and maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in the park area. This position requires excellent communication skills, a customer-centric approach, and a commitment to upholding the park's rules and regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Gate Management: Operate entrance and exit gates, ensuring efficient traffic flow in and out of the park. Collect admission fees, issue tickets, and process payments accurately.
• Visitor Assistance: Greet visitors warmly, provide information about park facilities, activities, and regulations. Assist visitors with directions, parking, and any inquiries they may have.
• Safety and Security: Monitor park entrances and exits to ensure only authorized vehicles and individuals enter. Report any safety hazards, suspicious activities, or incidents to the appropriate authorities promptly.
• Cash Handling: Handle cash transactions securely and accurately, following established procedures for reconciliation and deposit. Maintain an organized cash register and accounting records.
• Park Maintenance: Keep the entrance area, parking lot, and surrounding areas clean and tidy. Remove litter, debris, and hazards as needed. Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to maintenance staff.
• Work schedule is 4 days per week (Thursday – Sunday). 12 p.m. – 10 p.m; May - September 2024

Requirements

• Must pass background check
• Customer service and guest services experience
• Cash handling skills
• Stamina and agility to perform tasks requiring bending, stooping, and reaching.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions

Job Type: Seasonal

Pay: $11.00 - $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 per week
