The Facilities and IT Operations Manager is a pivotal role responsible for managing and overseeing the organization's physical and technological infrastructure. This role encompasses a wide range of duties including network administration, technical support, management of operational expenses, general administration, problem solving, reporting, and building management. The ideal candidate will ensure the smooth operation of our IT systems and the maintenance and security of our physical facilities, providing a safe and efficient work environment for all employees.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the organization’s IT network, including software, hardware, and telecommunications systems.
  Provide technical support to staff, addressing and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  Manage and forecast operational expenses related to IT and facilities, ensuring effective budgeting and cost control.
  Administer contracts and oversee relationships with vendors and service providers.
  Implement problem-solving strategies for IT and facilities-related challenges, improving efficiency and effectiveness.
  Generate and present regular reports on IT infrastructure health, facilities maintenance, and operational expenses.
  Supervise the maintenance, renovation, and upkeep of building facilities, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
  Coordinate with senior management to align the IT and facilities strategies with the organization’s objectives.

Qualifications:

• Education: Associates degree in Information Technology, Facilities Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  Experience: 2 years of experience in IT management and/or facilities management, with a proven track record in overseeing operational expenses and infrastructure.
  Skills: Strong technical skills in IT administration, experienced word processing and spreadsheeting, excellent problem-solving abilities, effective communication and leadership skills, proficiency in budget management, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  Attributes: Highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive in identifying and addressing issues, and capable of working independently and as part of a team.
