POSITION OVERVIEW
The Lead Coordinator, Management of Change (MOC) reports directly to the Engineering Superintendent, Process Safety and will support all SPL Operation departments for MOC related activities. Under general supervision, provides guidance and assurance for an effective implementation of the MOC program at SPL. The Lead Coordinator, MOC will be the overseer of the MOC process and maintain the procedures, guidelines and tools for MOC management at SPL with a focus on continuous improvement. The Lead Coordinator, MOC helps ensure the MOC process receives appropriate attention, priority, management support and resources needed to function effectively. The Lead Coordinator, MOC works with the responsible department manager(s) to ensure that the change process is followed when applicable. The Lead Coordinator, MOC provides key quality review checkpoints within the MOC process and facilitates the post-change review processes where applicable.
KNOWLEDGE
Possesses a thorough understanding of Change Management with basic understanding of Natural Gas Liquefaction, LNG transportation, operations, storage, and loading. Has understanding of organizational structure and has ability to recognize changes that have the potential to trigger Change Management, including, but not limited to, business process, procedures, administrative or business systems. In addition, familiarity with the various applicable federal, state, and local agencies and applicable laws, regulations, codes, standards, and permits required to operate LNG terminals, including but not limited to: DOT, OSHA, USCG, EPA, FERC, NFPA, and knowledge in emergency response operations, planning, techniques, and reporting.
