Change Management Specialist jobs in New Britain, CT

Do you enjoy the change management process, supporting organizational restructuring, and assisting in recruiting, onboarding and other HR support to managers? If so we have a contract position that can last 8 months or mote with potential to go to direct hire with our client company.

Position: HR Generalist - Change Management

Location: Durham CT

Position Type: Onsite (no remote capability), contract position with potential to convert (but not required and also not guaranteed)

Schedule: Monday through Friday, standard business hours

Hourly pay rate: Up to $45.00 based on experience

What will you do:

• Support overall the organization and departments in an HR Generalist capacity
• Support restructuring efforts including recruiting, employee relations, employee engagement, and related
• Consult and coach managers and teams
• Support and engage senior leaders
• Support organizational design and definition of roles and responsibilities
• Coordinate efforts with other specialists
• Integrate change management activities into the project plan
• Track and report issues
• Support change management at the organizational level

What is essential for this job:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a mid to senior level HR role
• Knowledge and ability to implement change management processes and practices; Change management certification or designation desirable
• Experience in manufacturing is a plus but not required, some production floor-related HR experience also a plus
• Related college degree and certifications
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
• Excellent active listening skills
• Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal
• Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations
• Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others
