POSITION: TransmissionDatabase Management Specialist

TYPE: Full-Time, Hourly

POSITION LOCATION: Santa Cruz, CA

WAGE RANGE: $35-$37 per hour

DRG Pacific Services, a Davey Company, has an exciting opportunity in the field of utility vegetation consulting, as a Database Coordinator for a major electric utility. This is a full-time, permanent position.

DUTIES:

• Be an integral part of day to day operations
• Follow pre-established procedures and guidelines
• Gather, review and relay data, trends and information to clients, management and staff
• Run reports, query and analyze existing database for outliers, customer information and productivity
• Summarize large amounts of information into concise deliverables
• Generate work requests and facilitate employee work planning
• Update project dates and status
• Identify schedule attainment goals, track schedule and productivity and manage project deadlines
• Support client with any additional clerical duties

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Strong skills in Windows and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook) and basic computer applications
• Impeccable organization and planning skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and writing skills
• Ability to problem solve and adapt and overcome obstacles
• Strong ability to multitask in a fast paced and dynamic environment
• Great people skills, willingness and desire to assist employees and clients
• Flexibility and open to possibility of overtime and working outside regular schedule
