    The Change Management Manager should provide leadership, vision, design, and planning for change management initiatives that enable desired organizational change with positive benefits and minimum disruption of business processes.  Develops a framework and process to plan and manage change projects that address the strategic, enterprise-wide initiatives across the organization. Their primary role is to ensure that changes are effectively planned, implemented, and adopted by employees and key stakeholders, minimizing resistance, and maximizing the benefits of the change.

    This is a remote-based position with preferred proximity near Jasper IN, Cleveland OH, or Deerfield IL.  Travel requirements for this position will be approximately 25% with occasional higher amounts up to 50% depending on business needs and projects.

    Responsibilities: 

    • Develop and implement change management strategies and plans to support organizational, enterprise-wide initiatives, projects, and enhancements.
    • Uses organization change management methodologies to conduct assessments of current state, define business processes, analyze stakeholders, identify risks, and establish the goals and milestones of changes.
    • Identifies and nurtures project champions within Masterbrand.
    • Identify potential risks and obstacles to change and develop mitigation strategies.
    • Create and execute communication plans to effectively communicate the purpose, benefits, and progress of the change to stakeholders.
    • Assess the impact of the change on employees and develop strategies to address resistance and promote adoption.
    • Collaborate with project teams and leaders to ensure change management activities are integrated into project plans.
    • Provide coaching and support to managers and leaders to help them effectively lead their teams through the change.
    • Develop and deliver training programs to equip employees with the necessary skills and knowledge to adapt to change.
    • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of change management initiatives and make adjustments as needed.
    • Stay updated on industry best practices and trends in change management to continuously improve processes and approaches.

     

    Qualifications

    Characteristics & Experience 

    • Bachelor's degree in business administration, organizational psychology, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.
    • Proven experience in leading company-wide change management initiatives, preferably in a leadership role.
    • Strong understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and tools.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
    • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to assess complex situations and develop appropriate strategies.
    • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
    • Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships with cross-functional teams.
    • Proficiency in using change management software and tools.
    • Certification in change management (e.g., Prosci, ACMP) is a plus.
    • Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
