Channel Sales Manager manages a team of channel sales representatives to achieve sales and profit goals by selling goods and services through resellers/channels. Director Omni Channel Sales

  • The Director Omni Channel Sales will be responsible for setting the strategic direction, managing partner relationships, and achieving Wacom’s sales and profitability goals for all of Wacom’s B2C Omni, eTail and distribution channels while strategically collaborating with the leadership of Wacom’s B2B sales and eStore teams. 

    In the rapidly evolving retail landscape, the Director Omni Channel Sales will use their experience and expertise to guide Wacom through the expanding eTail opportunities and challenges at partners such as Amazon, and Best Buy as well as managing our distribution and our B2B fulfillment partners. The role includes leading an experienced channel team in all aspects of channel management including channel expansion, product sell-in, channel sales programs, promotions, events, and channel marketing programs.

    Location: This position can be based in our Portland, OR, office, hybrid, or fully remote (West Coast).

    What you will be doing:

    • Own P&L for B2C partners and deliver against Wacom’s sales targets and strategic goals
    • Develop strategic and tactical sales and channel marketing plans with channel partners to drive profitability, maintain market leadership and Wacom brand premium.
    • Manage B2C channel partners including partners such as Amazon, who operate across multiple countries in the Americas region.
    • Provide thought leadership and leverage your experience to guide Wacom through the growing influence and expanding capabilities of Amazon including leveraging 1(P) and 3(P) potential.
    • Lead Sales teams in data-driven, collaborative model to optimize on platform AMS and other channel advertising announcements.
    • Partner with other functional teams, Marketing, Product Marketing and Finance as well as the B2B and eStore sales teams in building strategy, setting KPIs, forecasting, measuring performance and reporting.
    • Analyze industry market trends, products, and pricing and devise strategies and tactics to leverage for Wacom’s success.
    • Lead team in working collaboratively
    • Develop and coach staff to exceed sales targets

    Skills you bring:

    • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or other relevant discipline, or equivalent experience. 
    • Minimum 10 years of Amazon, eCommerce and channel management experience.
    • Demonstrated knowledge and proven ability to manage retail channel partners including Amazon.
    • Ability to collaborate with external partners while focused on achieving Wacom’s goals.
    • Experience managing sales team. Must be a skilled motivator with demonstrated ability to coach and develop team
    • Strong financial and strategic planning skills along with a deep understanding and experience with digital marketing: including advertising, email and online store management.
    • Proven track record of developing relationships with team members, key internal partners, clients, retailers, vendors, and business partners to execute sales plans throughout North America.
    • Solid analytical skills and budgeting experience.
    • Excellent negotiation, organizational and communication skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced working environment.
    • Willingness to travel to partners and events on a regular basis (up to 25% travel)
    • Ability to participate in global meetings and planning session outside of normal business hours
