The Ecommerce Channel Specialist will be part of a dynamic team responsible for managing our brand's ecommerce channels. This includes creating and managing product listings, optimizing platform ads and inventory, and performing updates and maintenance as needed. In addition, the role supports our marketing team by developing seamless, professional, and visually appealing sales promotions, ads, and website content.
The ideal candidate for this role will have experience in at least one ecommerce channel, with preference to: Amazon Seller or Vendor Central, Walmart Seller, Home Depot, Overstock, Target, and Shopify. The Ecommerce Channel Specialist will also be proficient with Excel and data analysis, and comfortable running reports to present data to the team. This individual will be a highly motivated, independent individual who is excited for a position where they can use their existing digital marketing knowledge as well as learn new skills.
Responsibilities:
Identify trends and analyze data through the use of various reporting tools such as Google Analytics, Shopify reports, and other platform-specific analytics tools.
Create data visualizations to communicate business needs and performance to internal and external teams.
Research and implement new initiatives to increase sales and enhance brands and listings across platforms.
Optimize and improve listings via up-to-date best practices and implement new content, descriptions, etc., as needed.
Monitor competitors, pricing, listings, and content for issues and opportunities, and identify problems with listings while collaborating with the team to provide solutions.
Stay up-to-date with new ecommerce channel trends and top sellers in relevant categories to identify growth opportunities.
Work with the rest of the marketing team to develop rich, meaningful, and impactful content to enhance brands and listings
Position Requirements:
2 years experience in ecommerce or digital marketing fields
Bachelor’s degree in related field OR commensurate experience
Proficient in MS Office. Intermediate level Excel required- must be able to use complicated formulas and build charts out of data
Deep experience with Amazon Seller Central and Shopify is a must, with knowledge of other ecommerce channels such as Walmart, Home Depot, Overstock, and Target a plus.
Knowledgeable about digital marketing fundamentals- such as SEO/SEM and content marketing
Motivated and organized- able to follow projects through to completion either individually or with the team
Results driven and goal oriented- this position will be a good fit for an individual who is comfortable taking responsibility for projects and results
