The Warehouse Manager is an integral team member at Pro Sales inc. You will be responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations between two locations, our primary shipping hub here in Jerome, ID, and our satellite location in Tacoma, Wa. We are looking for an individual with strong communication and organization skills to develop and lead our team to success.
What you will do:
· Provide primary oversight of all day-to-day warehouse tasks, including providing accountability for all warehouse-related metrics
· Proactively collaborate with other departments to ensure timely shipping
· Set up and maintain a solid infrastructure in the warehouse by hiring, developing, and cross-training members
· Promote strong safety culture by ensuring compliance with OSHA safety rules and regulations along with good housekeeping practices by setting a consistent example for and clear standards of safety in the warehouse
· Organize and maintain warehouse based on best inventory practices to provide quick picking
· Foster staff development and growth; mentor and train warehouse employees, as well as assist customers that visit our warehouse's for will-call
· Work hands-on in the warehouse
· Maintain a commitment to Pro Sales standards by setting a consistent example and through accountability
· Special projects and tasks assigned by your supervisor
What we are looking for:
· 2 years' experience in warehouse operations, management, and inventory, with expertise in industrial manufacturing or sanitary equipment a plus
· Career driven and passionate about staff development and overall team health
· Highly organized multi-tasker with an eye for detail
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Basic knowledge of Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
· Ability to work overtime
· Forklift driving experience
· Working knowledge of OSHA safety guidelines
· Able to coordinate, motivate, manage and develop a team both locally and remotely
· Competitive, self-starter who is both ambitious and works well in a team environment
