Duties include:
- Develop and implement outreach strategies to promote awareness of our organization's programs and services
- Conduct presentations and public speaking engagements to educate the community about addiction counseling and recovery resources
- Collaborate with community organizations and stakeholders to establish partnerships and referral networks
- Manage and coordinate volunteer programs, including recruitment, training, and supervision of volunteers
- Assist in the development of outreach materials, such as brochures, flyers, and social media content
- Collect and analyze data to evaluate the effectiveness of outreach efforts and make recommendations for improvement
- Utilize social media platforms to engage with the community, share educational resources, and promote events
Qualifications:
- Strong public speaking skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex information to diverse audiences
- Demonstrated leadership abilities in managing outreach initiatives or volunteer programs
- Experience in program development and market research is a plus
- Knowledge of addiction counseling principles and resources is highly desirable
- Proficient in data collection, analysis, and reporting
- Familiarity with social media platforms for community engagement and promotion
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
