The area of responsibility for the Systems Administrator II is to implement, maintain and improve the servers, systems, and associated products. The Systems Administrator position is responsible to help ensure that Idaho Central Credit Union is secure and available through the implementation of best practices, risk-based security requirements and controls set-forth by the Idaho Central Credit Union Security Program.
A qualified candidate will have a bachelor’s degree required in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or engineering/math field of study. Must have 5-8 years’ experience managing applicable systems. Security certification such as CISSP or SANS is a plus.
Experience configuring AWS and/or Microsoft Azure cloud servers, storage accounts, Azure AD and Office 365 Services is a requirement.
Managing host environments to ensure proper tuning, security best practices and sufficient capacity planning (including web servers, database servers, VMWare, Storage, and blades).
Understanding of how Active Directory operates and the ability to demonstrate proficiency utilizing GPO’s and related directory structure services.
Obtaining or already possessing one or more of the following is required:
Able to communicate with Executive Management, Credit Union personnel and communicate effectively through customized reports. Able to always maintain confidentiality of Credit Union and member records.
Performance Standard:
Must have a demonstrated ability to figure out complex problems. Able to research, analyze, understand, and report on high level system issues. Attention to detail on many concurrent projects and initiatives. A demonstrated cooperative and positive attitude toward members and other Credit Union staff. Ability to work without supervision. Must be willing to comply with the Bank Secrecy Act and USA Patriot Act as implemented by Idaho Central Credit Union.
