CAPTURE 3D, A ZEISS company, has an immediate opening to expand our Farmington Hills / Wixom, MI based Field Service Team responsible for installation and support of our robotically automated solutions installation solutions that provide automated 3D non contact scanning and Inspection. Our ATOS 3D non-contact measurement and inspection solutions have been embraced by a wide range of companies in the automotive, aerospace, casting & forging, plastics, motorsports, metal forming and consumer products to enhance their design through manufacturing processes.

The Field Service Technician will be responsible for:

• Installation of CAPTURE 3D's various automated solution configurations
• Support of our client's automated solutions including onsite servicing
• Troubleshooting solutions via phone, virtually, as well as onsite if necessary
• The automated solutions utilize various automation components (robots, linear and vertical lift stages, RFID identification, and loading systems) to automate the part / assembly 3D scanning process as well as part loading and handing. The Automation Technician will be responsible for the proper installation, cell calibration and startup of these solutions at the customer location
• Support Capture 3D's sales, engineering and hardware support organizations in the sales and post sales process
• Support onsite ATOS systems VDI certifications (system performance confirmation via known artifact measurement process)
• Travel required to support above listed responsibilities up to 50%

Basic Qualifications:

• Professional demeanor and confidence in working with internal and customer groups of people
• Self motivated and able to work both independently and alongside CAPTURE 3D's team members, and management
• Operates with attention to details
• Ability to articulate technical information in a simple and concise manor
• Ideally a minimum of 3 years of electromechanical related experience
• Solid technical competence
• Sound knowledge of PC use and applications
• Meet required qualifications to work with ITAR designated data
• Forklift experience and certification

Our 3D measurement and inspection solutions assist organizations in optimizing their “Concept through Manufacturing product cycle” by quickly providing an accurate "As Built" digital definition to support inspection, root cause analysis, rapid manufacturing, etc.
