Position Summary |
Charge Capture Specialist is responsible for ensuring that all charges for supplies are captured and added to the encounter. This includes identifying, analyzing, reading and reconciling against nursing and physician documentation which are in paper format. Employee performs the charge capture job demonstrating technical ability, understanding of job expectations and compliance with organization policies and procedures. The hospital utilizes a Electronic Medical Record, Athena, which is a manual system. This role will help to improve our paper/manual processes to best processes despite the process are not electronic or digitized.
