Duties:
- Provide direct patient care and supervision to ensure the delivery of high-quality healthcare services
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor and document patient vital signs, symptoms, and progress
- Assist with procedures such as spinal taps, airway management, and ostomy care
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and sterile processing standards
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Educate patients and their families on healthcare procedures, treatments, and self-care techniques
- Document patient information accurately and timely using electronic medical record systems (eClinicalWorks)
Experience:
- Minimum of [X] years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an ambulatory surgery center or similar setting
- Experience working with children and individuals with special needs is preferred
- Knowledge of Durable Medical Equipment (DME) and coding practices is a plus
