Transports resort guests and passengers to various destinations in company limousines or appropriate vehicles.
• Performs routine safety inspections of the livery vehicles at the beginning of each shift.• Ensures that the livery vehicles are clean at all times, both inside and outside.• Ensures that the livery vehicles are adequately fueled at all times.• Ensures that the livery vehicles are stocked and prepared in accordance to service standards and requests.• Operates all vehicles safely and in compliance with all motor vehicle laws and speed limits.• Drives assigned route and follows itinerary. • Assists passengers in handling luggage and large packages.• Provides information to passengers on resort promotions and local attractions.• Performs other duties as assigned.
• High School diploma or GED certificate.• One year of experience transporting passengers.• Previous limousine chauffeuring experience preferred.• Knowledge of local, regional and state attractions, destinations and routes.• Knowledge of Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo County wineries.• Must be able to read maps and navigate unfamiliar places.• Must have a professional demeanor and be well groomed.• Must be friendly and courteous.• Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated patience and tact.• General proficiency in computers, including Microsoft Office applications, email, and internet.• California Class B driver license with passenger (P) endorsement is preferred.• Must have an acceptable driving record.• Employee must apply for, receive, and maintain a gaming license from the Gaming Commission.• Native American hiring preference applies.
