Check Collections Manager manages and leads a group of check collection staff. Oversees the operation of the check proof, transit, and other transactions. Being a Check Collections Manager plans and implements collection policy and procedures to ensure recovery of fraudulent checks. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Check Collections Manager typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Check Collections Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. Responsibilities:
- Provide armed security services to protect personnel, property, and assets
- Conduct regular patrols of designated areas to deter and detect potential security threats
- Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to identify any suspicious activity
- Respond promptly to emergency situations and provide necessary assistance
- Enforce access control procedures to ensure only authorized individuals enter restricted areas
- Maintain accurate records of security incidents and report any violations or breaches
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed
Qualifications:
- Must possess a valid armed security officer license or certificate
- Previous experience in loss prevention, surveillance, or law enforcement is preferred
- Proficient in conflict management techniques and able to handle high-stress situations calmly and effectively
- Knowledge of CPR, first aid, and other emergency response procedures
- Familiarity with CCTV systems and other security equipment
- Ability to work independently and make quick decisions in critical situations
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse range of individuals
