Under the supervision of the Site/Mobile Field Manager, assumes responsibility for supervising the staff in the collection at fixed sites and/or mobile sites. Monitors the collection activities to ensure compliance with SOPs. Serves as a resource for donor eligibility and phlebotomy complications. Responsible for meeting projected production goals. Essential Functions • Supervises blood collection at fixed/mobile sites. • Trained on all tasks required of Donor Care Technicians I, II, III,IV & V (as applicable). • Functions as a resource for staff regarding donor criteria and vein suitability. • Functions as a resource for donor questions and concerns. • Functions as a resource for difficult venipunctures. • Revews QC documentation. • Ensures staff compliance with SOPs. • Determines job assignments, breaks, and meal tinies for staff. • Coordinates with the mobile chairperson and volunteers. • Handles or seeks help for emergencies that occur. • Ensures compliance with the CBC safety policies and procedures. • Maintains confidentiality of personal information regarding donors and staff. • Responds to staffing problems and donor/staff complaints and counsel donors and staff as needed. • Provides written evaluation of staff regarding performance and compliance with SOPs. • Provides documentation when needed regarding staff behavior and/or attendance problems. • Proniotes customer service and a positive image of CBC to the community. • Maintains prompt and regular attendance. • Responsible for responding to temperature/humidity alarms (as applicable). • Responsible for maintaining and reconciling monthly equipment inventory • Must be able to confidently colllUlunication and interpret intermediate information in English to all members of the public and staff. Other Functions • Maintains knowledge of donor inler\ ew and phlebotomy tasks. • Performs registration, unit processing, and duties of MUOs when needed (as applicable). • Ensures proper equipment is available for collections. • Orders supplies as needed.
