Under general direction from the Director of Surgical Services, the Sterile Processing Manager assumes 24-hour accountability for the management of the Sterile Processing Department, coordinating care, processing and provision of surgical instrumentation, surgical supplies and certain house supplies throughout the hospital system while complying with all hospital and regulatory agency policies, procedures and protocols in a high quality and cost effective manner.
