• Delaco Kasle Processing, Indiana (DKP-I)

B Shift, 6pm-4am, Tuesday-Friday.

-Super Saturday when needed with possible 12 hour shifts.

About the Job:

• Understand and follow safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance in all areas of safety.
• Comprehend all related work instructions and SOP manuals in order to train other production line team members.
• Maintain quality requirements of products by performing prescribed quality inspections per associated instructions and record all product checks on appropriate check sheets to be turned in for review.
• Report any quality or safety conditions that prevent the line (and all related equipment) from operating efficiently and effectively to the Production Supervisor.
• Monitor Stacker Operator, ensuring quality and quantity of blanks.
• Prepare pallets to load into stacker and ensure cardboard placed on pallets is clean and sensor hole cutouts are present and correct.
• Perform other necessary job functions outlined by associated instructions and check sheets.
• Other duties as assigned
• Must be able to read and understand English

What does it take to be a Machine Operator for the Diez Group?

Below are the minimum qualifications for machine operators.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in the manufacturing industry.
• Proven knowledge and proficiency in machine operation or quality inspection positions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and basic knowledge of arithmetic.
• Capable of handling multiple activities at the same time.
• Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate effectively.
• Ability to repeatedly lift heavy objects, walk and stand for long periods of time and perform strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions.
• Flexible with working overtime as needed.
• Must adhere to all company policies, including attendance.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
