Chemical Dependency Counselor runs individual, family, and group counseling for patients in chemical dependency programs. Acts as mediator between patients, relatives, medical staff, and outside agencies if needed. Being a Chemical Dependency Counselor tracks patient progress and dispensation of treatment services. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent; meets the standards for Chemical Dependency Counselor Certification Board, or other appropriate certification. Additionally, Chemical Dependency Counselor typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Chemical Dependency Counselor's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Looking for a Counselor (LAC or LPC) who is interested in growing as a therapist and has interest in working with Complex PTSD, anxiety disorders and resolving core issues. This is an opportunity to get specialized training and supervision in EMDR, trauma therapies, and the treatment of complex issues.
This is a part-time or full-time position.
This position requires someone with a drive and innovation to grow and develop as a therapist. Training and quality supervision is our biggest priority when equipping an LAC to grow in their stride as counselors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
-Provide individual, couples, or family psychotherapy in accordance with federal/state laws and professional code of ethics
-Consult with Clinical Director regarding case management and treatment plan
-Maintain appropriate documentation of services to clients, including intake, assessments and progress notes
-Implement and maintain LK Institute philosophy, principles and procedures
-Conduct one's self in a manner consistent with the professional code of ethics
-Provide clinically appropriate treatment, interventions and/or education to clients in a professional manner
Requirements
-Masters degree or higher in mental health related field.
-Possession of LAC licensure in the state of Arizona (minimum).
-Must be in good standing with an active license according to AZBBHE.
-Ability to obtain and maintain malpractice insurance.
-Active finger print clearance card.
-Must have a smartphone, computer access and a willingness to learn LK Institute electronic health record system,
