Summary of Position:

The Chemical Operator provides a variety of essential services to our Bleach Plant, Liquid Blending, Warehouse, and filling production departments. The applicant must be flexible with work hours as overtime is required certain times of the year. Successful candidate must be detail oriented and possess good verbal and written communication skills. Candidates must pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test, background check, as well as random drug and alcohol screening.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Offload Railcars into storage tanks and tankers.
• Clean containers
• Under supervision of liquid blending manager, follow batch formulation sheets and product chemical products such as cleaning liquids and powders.
• Use forklift, pallet jacks, and other equipment to move chemical inventory.
• Transferring chemicals into various container sizes.
• Maintain impeccable paper records.
• Adhere to rigorous health and safety protocols.
• Work in inclement weather
• Work in a team-based environment.
• Some heavy lifting required
• Cleaning, sweeping, etc.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 55 per week
