Chemical Dependency Director directs chemical dependency and substance abuse treatment and recovery programs. Leads, supports, and develops care team members. Being a Chemical Dependency Director oversees services from intake through discharge for continuity and quality of client care. Prioritizes client safety and directs crisis management. Additionally, Chemical Dependency Director develops and administers approved standards and guidelines, ensures all licensing and accreditation requirements are maintained. Establishes and administers recordkeeping and reporting processes. Requires a bachelor's degree. Requires Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC). Typically reports to a director. The Chemical Dependency Director manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Chemical Dependency Director typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Plant operator duties include operating a forklift or other equipment to load or move materials to supply production areas with needed materials. This would also include load and/or unload trucks, railcars or other containers. Put away materials, track inventory, and complete necessary paperwork. There is an expectation that all work is performed in accordance with Company safety and environmental policies and procedures. GAC will provide all necessary training. Must be able to work any scheduled shifts (AM/PM; occasional Sat/Sun for OT).
